There's a lot that goes into aging parents that you are not ready for. Aren't they always supposed to take care of you? Don't you go to them for answers? Some will plan ahead, and some will not. Even if they do, are you aware of their wishes? Are you prepared to act accordingly? Will this transition be as smooth as possible?
Ten years ago, my step-father died with his own children suing him before death, & my mother soon after.
The past 4 years I've gone through the struggles of moving my mother out of her home, into two different facilities. Navigating Alzheimer's, testing positive for Covid, recovering, and ultimately passing.
I now want to help you with what I've learned.
Your parents worked hard, you want to help them age gracefully.
I come from a family of educators, so I know it's important to educate yourself, and then take action.
I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone, not just for people who have aging parents in a difficult health or financial situation. This course helps you have all kinds of conversations with loved ones, whether they are currently fully in control of their lives and don’t’ need your help, to ones who are in diminished capacity. The course shined a light on so many things I hadn’t considered or thought of and has made me so much more prepared and knowledgeable. Loren has truly thought of everything for you and she does it in the most compassionate and encouraging way. – Kaite J.
“Take this course so you don’t have to do the research and find out everything for yourself” – Shinri F.
The promise
In this course you will evaluate your parents’ needs in terms of home, health and wealth, who will be responsible for each and have a foundation in place for the future.
